The standard is practical, not performative

Safe labour hire starts before a person reaches site. Ore Contracting works through the role, work environment and requirements that apply to the engagement.

Paperwork alone does not make a safe workplace. We use clear information, suitable people and ongoing communication to support the client’s site systems.

Before a person starts

  • Identity and right to work
  • Relevant experience and work history
  • Licences, tickets and qualifications
  • Role-specific capability
  • Site, travel and roster requirements
  • Required inductions and documents
  • Known constraints or changes to the brief

During the engagement

  • Hours and payroll records are kept clear
  • Workers compensation is managed through Ore’s employment arrangement
  • Client and worker have a clear point of contact
  • Changes to role, site or conditions are raised early
  • Concerns are taken seriously and followed up

A shared responsibility

Ore manages the employment relationship and supports the worker. The client controls the site and day-to-day work environment. Everyone must follow relevant laws, site rules, procedures and directions.

If something is not right, stop and raise it.
